Unfinished business

I'm all pins and needles , with so much unfinished sewing lying
around - sometimes I really wish I had an extra pair of hands to help me
complete everything that's carefully packed away, and waiting their turn.
Sometime ago I took a fancy to an embroidered cushion cover that I
saw in IKEA.
I went home, made a sketch on a piece of Calico fabric, and started sewing.
It doesn't look exactly like the one in the shop, but similar.
Come to think of it, I could have bought that cushion 20 times over and
over again - because my cushion isn't even half completed.
The problem with me is - the minute I get involved in a sewing project, I
will work like crazy to finish the job, but unfortunately the other goodies
will lie on ice - Must definately change that attitude (First pic)
The 2nd picture shows the start of another crazy patchwork, but
this is the first time I've worked a pretty card into the pattern.
Once I've finished it all, it should look quite pretty.
Due to the pattern on the fabric,I'm hoping that the bag at the bottom
of the page will look a little bitty Indian.
